Welcome Duty Roster

The following is the continuation of the ‘Duty Roster’ for Reception/Welcoming Duties to the end of June 2026. Invitations to those for ‘Moment of Reflection’ and ‘VOT’ nearer the time of meetings, shall continue as before.

Two members are nominated for each meeting from a ‘selected list of 32 assumed to be available and able for weekly meetings. ‘11’ others have been excused due to extenuating circumstances.

  • Each nominee shall be responsible for seeking a stand-in/replacement if they are unable to attend on the dates for which they have been nominated.
  • A running update of relative meetings and confirmation of venues can be viewed on the ‘club website’ and ‘programme’ updates.
  • Those on Reception Duty shall also be responsible for erecting and taking down the Rotary pull-up banners each week.

It is considered that this approach is more effective than having to ask individual members to indicate, well in advance, whether or not they intend to attend meetings.
