Ayr Rotary Raise Cash for CHAS (Children’s Hospice Association Scotland)

A packed Majestic Wines in Alloway Place Ayr, hosted a wine tasting night organised by the Rotary Club of Ayr. Martin and his generous staff, poured samples of the very best wines from around the world, including champagne to the delight of the Rotarians and their guests. The loud laughter and chatter was interrupted by a call to announce the raffle winners. Eileen Haddow, the President’s wife, carefully drew envelopes from a bowl as the crowd waited in anticipation in the hope of hearing their names being read out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One by one the delighted winners stepped up to receive their prizes which varied from a box of crystal glasses to a 2 litre bottle of France’s best rose wine. In excess of a whopping £300 was raised for this deserving charity.
