“Tree of Remembrance” Summary

The generosity of the folk in Ayrshire enabled Ayr Rotary Club to donate an amazing total of £6600 to three local charities, Whiteleys Retreat, Ayrshire Cancer Support and The Ayrshire Hospice all benefited from monies collected at the Tree of Remembrance during December which was held on the High Street. Donations from all walks of life, including the sartorial elegance of Tom, a London based cigar sommelier and whisky ambassador, to the wee elderly couple who thanked the Rotary volunteers for their efforts. We were privileged to be part of this charity event.
