Hilarious Photo Caption Competition Evening
In an evening full of laughter and fun, the “photo caption competition” made a welcome return to Ayr Rotary’s evening meeting after several years absence. Douglas Haddow hosted the night in front of an audience of 32 members, having commandeered President Howard, Secretary Bob and Social Convener Alan Meikle as judges. Douglas created eight teams with adventurous team names like The Happy Bandits, The Head Scratchers and Three Men and a Little Lady, the latter winning most laughs on a tiebreak. A Tunnocks Tea Cake was generously presented to each winning team member consisting of Mary-Helen Shakespeare, John Ackroyd, Mike Williams and Walter Walsh. No expense spared.
