Ayr Street Pastors receive a Treasure Chest Donation

Richard and Irene from Ayr Street Pastorsd

Ayrshire Street Pastors aim to share their love of Christ with people through their actions, as they believe that these speak louder than words.  This is achieved by patrolling the streets of Ayr and Prestwick, primarily at night, ensuring that people are safe on the streets, by Caring, Listening and Helping.  Ayrshire Street Pastors are now a recognised and appreciated part of the night-time economy.  They are members of the Safe Ayr Group which comprises of all the agencies and organisations that try and make Ayrshire a safe and enjoyable place to socialise in, at the weekend.

All Street Pastors undertake First Aid training.  They have at least three new recruits, who will require this for the first time, plus about ten of t existing SPs will need to be retrained when their three years training runs out in early 2026.  Training costs are expected to be at least £50 per head.
