Ayr Show Festival of Flight Launch

South Ayrshire Council launched their Festival of Flight on Friday evening 2nd February. Ayr Rotary Club were complemented to have been invited to this event. Jim Nelson and Douglas Haddow enjoyed the hospitality and convivial atmosphere which pervaded the table conversations. The air show which is being held at the shorefront over three days from 8th to 10th September will be an unmissable experience with something for everyone to enjoy.

South Ayrshire Council (Destination South Ayrshire) want to deliver an event that leaves a lasting impact and legacy using it’s extensive knowledge, experience and connections. Therefore they have partnered with SKYLAB, appointed Les Garside Beattie OBE as Flight Director and identified the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund as their event charity partners.

With over 100 guests attending the evening, the Council created a very positive, enthusiastic and motivating conclusion their very professionally organised launch
