Ayr Rotary Charity Golf Day
A shotgun start at 9.30am on Friday 8th May saw nineteen teams tee-off to compete in the Ayr Rotary Club Annual Charity Golf Day at Belleisle Park. This event is the main fund-raiser in the club’s calendar, and raised an amazing £9711 for local charities. The principal beneficiaries this year is Crossroads Caring Scotland, a not-for-profit charity with over 40 years of experience that delivers a variety of home care services providing support for vulnerable people and their families. Chairman Brian Kelsey attend the event and was delighted with the support from Ayr Rotary Club.
The winning team was Stranraer Rotary Club captained by Neville Wright seen with main sponsors ML Williams.
The day’s success was attributable, in no small way, to the magnificent support from South Ayrshire Council’s golfing staff and the tireless efforts of their café team.
