Tuesday 11th April, Roy Smith on Water & Trees
Using excellent photographs, Roy, a member of the Ayr Photographic Society, entertained his large audience with cleverly taken shots of every day events in nature, around Ayrshire. From the shimmering waters of Loch Doon and the angry crashing waves at Ardrossan harbour to the veins in leaves; from diffused lighting of a new moon and even bubbles created from washing up liquid, Roy demonstrated his skill and eye for the unusual. His ease of delivery, non ‘techie’ approach, made for a very enjoyable evening which was thoroughly appreciated by his engaged audience. Craig Alexander gave a worthy vote of thanks
