Strictly Rotary (and friends) – 9 November 2018

Well! What a night we had last week at the Horizon Hotel. Watch out Anton du Beke and Darcy Bussell! Ayr Rotary Club are on the dance floor!

Those of us who had the courage (or audacity) to look out these old dance shoes and take to the floor were rewarded with an evening of performance, passion and (let’s be honest) pantomime. There were some who could dance well and some who only thought they could dance well. But no matter – a great time was had by all.

 

 

Leading us once again through a clever and entertaining programme of dance, games, quiz and raffle was our MC for the night Alan McWilliam, ably assisted by his dance partner and wife, Lynn.

A spot waltz was won by Mhairi Ireland with Bruno Tonioli (aka Gus Iannotti).

This was another tremendous success for Ian Alexander Promotions who were absent on the night having fled the country (just in case).
