Showcase Event at Dobbies

Ayr Rotary Club held an opening morning in Dobbies conservatory
on Saturday 4^th February. The many visitors were able to view
the numerous projects which the Club undertake, including
Aquabox the Scottish Poppy Appeal, the Ayrshire Coastal Path maintenance,
Treasure Chest and Message in a Bottle and gain an insight to this large Club’s community activities. Also on display was a range of video and photographic examples of the fun and friendliness that the Ayr Rotary Club have now become known. The morning diners and visitors were treated to the gentle sounds of harpist Maddie Jessop who entertained the appreciative audience. A free draw for a meal for two, kindly donated by The Savoy Park Hotel, Ayr was won by Mike Whiteford from Ayr.

Refreshments & shortbread were provided courtesy of Dobbies restaurant manager Nicola Paterson, her Supervisor Karen and their attentive staff, for which Ayr Rotary were very grateful.
