Scottish School Athletics in the Emirates Stadium, Glasgow

President Douglas and Muir Austin represented Ayr Rotary at the Scottish School Athletics in the Emirates Stadium, Glasgow on Wednesday 3rd February which was sponsored by all three Scottish Rotary Districts 1010, 1020 & 1230. A stimulating, adrenaline fueled atmosphere was palpable in the stadium, with parents, grandparents, teachers and coaches all feeling the excitement of the day. Youngsters competed in the shot put, long jump, pole vault and of course various races from the 100 meters sprint to the 1500 meter tactical event. Douglas & Muir left the stadium exhausted,………………with watching.
