Paul Williams is Rotarian of the Year!

This year’s Rotarian of the Year award has gone to Paul Williams for his tireless contribution to the both the charitable work and the social side of the club. In particular, the award recognises Paul’s ready acceptance of the challenge to manage the annual Poppy Day Appeal in Ayr and his undoubted success in maintaining the improving income for this venerable charity which was set by the previous organisers Geoff & Jan Barber.

Paul attributes his enjoyment of involvement in Rotary especially to the opportunity to help young people, as he did throughout his career in teaching.
