John Ewing Mastermind 2016
August 23rd was the date of our 3rd annual Mastermind competition with question master Craig Wilson adopting the John Humphry’s role.
The entire club competed in the first round with the three highest scorers in the final. After a tie-break question between several members – How many minutes did the original Godfather film run for? New member, Eileen Alexander won the tie break and competed in the final with John Ewing and Paul Williams.
After 2 minutes of tough questions John was declared the winner answering 9 questions correctly with Eileen and Paul coming equal 2nd with 8 correct answers.
The Mastermind chair was the prize which will now surely have pride of place in the Ewing residence!
Honorary member, John Laughland, gave an amusing vote of thanks.
