Liz Marquis of the Energy Agency

Liz was our speaker at our recent meeting. Two German exchange students accompanied her on the evening.

The Energy Agency is a charitable organisation providing free, impartial and expert advice to households, businesses and communities, covering energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable transport.

Our aim is to reduce energy consumption and promote sustainability locally, thus contributing to national targets.

Energy Agency Renewables Ltd is a not for profit subsidiary company of the Energy Agency that has developed the Nethermills Hydro Scheme on the River Ayr. This is generating green electricity for Ayrshire College, helping to reduce CO2 emissions locally.
