Jim Nelson – Rotarian of the Year 2018

At the recent presidential handover meeting, Jim Nelson was awarded Rotarian of the Year for his excellent work in achieving more than £10,000 through the Charity Golf Day at Belleisle Park in May. The honour and the applause from the members were well deserved since the annual golf day is the club’s biggest fund-raiser. This year, 50% of the proceeds were donated to South Ayrshire Dementia Support Association (SADSA).
