District Governor Brenda Waugh visits Ayr

The guest speaker at our recent meeting was District Governor Brenda Waugh, who is a member of the Annan Rotary Club.

As well as her vision for the District, Brenda’s talk was on her recent visit to Mumbai in India. Each year, Rotary International has a theme and, when Brenda became her Club’s President, the theme was “Making Dreams Real” and her dream was to visit India.

Brenda said it was a privilege to hear about the vast number of Ayr Rotary projects which the Club has pioneered and is involved and how local and international charities have benefited by tens of thousands of pounds. President Howard gave a worthy vote of thanks.
