Associate Membership

Associate Membership allows an individual to become part of our Rotary Club, enjoy its activities and have time to consider becoming an active and full member. Feedback from other Rotary Clubs say that Associate Members recruited since the start of their pilot, found most would not have dreamed of joining Rotary, had it not been for the programme which allowed them to take part in Rotary activities at their own pace and without any demanding financial commitment. Many of these Associates became full active members. The remaining Associates continue to enjoy Rotary activities and attend Club events whenever they can.

Associate Membership will be for a period of 12 months for an investment of £30. It will entail attending meetings of the Rotary Club of Ayr on a suitable frequency – 5.30. for 6.00 pm on Tuesdays, at the Savoy Park Hotel, Racecourse Road, Ayr. The cost of dinner is £9.50 for two courses, with tea or coffee. The dress code is informal.

Business Membership

Business Membership enables an organisation to enrol up to three of its staff for a year in the Rotary Club of Ayr. They can attend either as individuals or in a group throughout the year, enjoying the Club’s activities, thus giving them time to consider becoming an active and full member. This is a new initiative from Ayr Rotary and the Club Council anticipate local organisations will be eager to learn more and wish to become involved. We have developed a 15 minute PowerPoint presentation which provides comprehensive details of this exciting new membership concept.
