Ayr Rotary Golf Charity Day
Our annual Charity Golf Day is on Friday 5 May 2023 at Belleisle Golf Course.
This year our main beneficiaries are The Salvation Army Food Bank and The Gaiety Youth Theatre
The Salvation Army Food Bank is a Christian Charity helping people who are struggling to feed themselves and their families. Demand for the Food Bank rose during Covid and the rising cost of living is, for so many, a major challenge. The Salvation Army Food Bank tries to ensure that those in desperate need have access to food right now, as well as over the coming months and beyond.
The Gaiety Youth Theatre offers places to young people (12 to 25 years of age) to develop their skills in theatre – acting, singing, dancing, writing and staging their own plays. This helps equip them with the skills and experience they need to pursue a career in the performing arts. They are particularly keen to attract people who could not afford to pay for this opportunity, hence the need for external funding.
The event will comprise an 18 Hole Stableford competition with prizes for Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin during your round of golf. The presentation of prizes and refreshments/buffet will be held in the Belleisle Clubhouse on completion of play.
The prize draw has many valuable prizes including a case of champagne, several four-balls around Ayrshire’s prestigious courses worth over £1000 each, £250 voucher for Slater Menswear and many others.
Cost is £220 for a team of 4 players while Hole sponsorship is also available for £125.00. Your sponsorship will be displayed with a Banner on the Course and on the Sponsors Board in the Club House.
