They have a son called Brody, who was born in Cologne, Germany, during a two year stint abroad. As Brody works and settled in Edinburgh they relocated from Warwickshire in England to Ayr in Scotland, to be closer to him.

Jens was a long serving member of Southam & District Round Table, where he has been chairman three times, President once and also spent time as an area exec.

He set up a partnership with the Round Table in his home town in Germany, which lasted beyond table into 41 Club and created live long friendships and regular visits from both sides.

Now he is a member of the Troon 41 Club, the Ayrshire Classic Car Club and the U3A quiz group in Ayr.

Ayr has been the best choice for relocating as he absolutely loves the town, the country side around it and the extremely friendly Scottish people. He is excited about joining Ayr Rotary as he wants to get involved in local projects and meet like minded people.
