An Evening at the Balgarth

This week the club’s business meeting was held at the Balgarth Pines for the first time. The twenty six members gathered appreciatively in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the function room on what was a bitingly cold and frosty evening.

The special general meeting and the follow-on business meeting was run efficiently, thus permitting the members to enjoy the excellent fare and friendly service.

Mary Helen Shakespeare gave her moment of reflection urging us all to complain less and to appreciate more, all that our town and district has to offer.
