A Brilliant Burns Night because….

Ayr Rotary Club was entertained to an amazingly high standard by talented performers at their Burns Supper night in the Stravaig Restaurant, Ayr. The irrepressible Willie Dick sparkled as MC, not only word perfectly addressing the Haggis, but also introducing the musically gifted husband and wife duo Bob Stewart, on guitar and Heather, singing like a bird. Not forgetting the “Immortal Memory”, expertly delivered by Hugh Farrell and then, and then wee Jean Hillhouse had the whole room ringing with laughter with her hilarious “Reply from the Lasses” A great night was had by all 52 audience members and guests with a vote of thanks seamlessly delivered by our very own Charlie Steele.
