2017 Kummel Cup Competition Played at Last!
The long-delayed 2017 Kummel Cup match was played over the Troon Portland course on a glorious, hot, sunny, late May day. Two groups of four battled it out for this prestigious golfing honour with Kenneth Dickie emerging victorious in a close-run Stableford count up.
The venerable Mr John Laughland, original donor of the cup, presented Kenneth with the cup and the customary bottle of Kummel liqueur.
It is intended that the 2018 competition will be played around September/October this year in order to get back on track.
