New Rotary Mastermind Crowned

August 18th was the date of our annual Mastermind competition with question master Craig Wilson  adopting the John Humphrys role.

The entire club competed in the first round with the three highest scorers in the final. After a tie-break question between equal scoring Euan Lawrence and Neil Beattie the former competed in the final with two of last years finalists, winner Kevin Bell and Jim McVie.

After 3 minutes of tough questions Euan was declared winner answering 11 questions correctly.

The Mastermind black chair was the prize which will now surely have pride of place in the Lawrence house – or shed.

The evening was also notable as we had two Ladies at the top table, Vice President Winifred Sloan chaired the meeting and Dorothy Herd who gave the Vote Of Thanks.
